Good neighbour fencing
Good Neighbour fencing has become the most commonly installed fences by fencing contractors Adelaide. The reason behind its popularity lays in its innovative construction method and the availability of specialised concrete plinths.
Good neighbour fencing employs a "panel" system of construction which consists of three colorbond fence sheets being locked in place by four specially profiled tracks, two acting as posts on either side, and two as rails at the top and bottom forming a panel. This method does away with the galvanised posts and rails generally used on one side of the fence and allows both neighbours to have the "good side" of the fence.
The availability of specially made concrete plinths which can be slotted in-between the posts under the fence panels is another plus for good neighbour fencing, these are ideal when the property height is different on either side of the fence or to stop soil from being built on the fence sheets leading to corrosion.
Post and Rail fencing
Although many prefer the visual aesthetics of Good neighbour fencing, a large number of Adelaide's country residents and those living in strong winds areas prefer the installation of Post and Rail fencing as they believe it to be the stronger and more secure option.
