Maintenance free perfection
The popularity of artificial lawn has increased rapidly over the years becoming the preferred choice of lawn installation with the majority of Adelaide's new home owners. Although the increasing cost to water and maintain a natural lawn is a contributing factor, the main reason most opt for an artificial lawn installation is to enjoy a lush, well presented lawn all year round without the constant need to mow, water or weed. The only maintenance required keep artificial lawn looking its absolute best is an occasional brooming to help lift and rejuvenate the turfs synthetic fibres.
Comparing the cost
Although the initial cost of installing artificial turf is higher than that of Instant lawn, it doesn't incur the ongoing cost to water, fertilizing, spray and mow that's needed by a natural lawn. Over time, these savings not only cover the initial higher expense, but will continue to save money into the future.

** If the earth is composed of Adelaide's Clay soil Gypsum is added to improve the drainage
* A well drained top soil base is prepared by adding a 100mm deep layer of Sandy loam, which is then carefully screeded and levelled ensuring a perfectly flat base at the correct height.
* Lawn starter fertilizer is added to the top of the base and thoroughly watered in,
after allowing time for the water to soak through, the levelling and height of the base is checked again before rolling out the instant turf.
* To ensure the best possible start, each row of instant grass is laid on an alternating pattern, loam infill is added to all joins, and a final watering is followed by a light roll to expel any air pockets and ensure a good connection between the turf and the soil is achieved.
Irrigation
* To ensure your new Instant lawn installation is being sufficiently watered without your constant attention, we can install either pop up or underground watering systems prior to laying the turf
