Driveway paving is an important addition to every home.
Not only does it provide the strength and rigidity needed to support the constant weight of heavy vehicles, its appearance plays a significant role in the overall appearance of your property.
Sufficient depth of excavation is key in providing the strong, robust foundation needed for high quality paving.
After excavation, all loose ground is then recompacted and hardened with a plate compactor.
The base is prepared using quarry rubble, constructed at 100+mm thick, the quarry rubble is levelled out and repeatedly compacted until a concrete like hardness is achieved.
A 25mm thick layer of bedding sand is added to the base then compacted and meticulously levelled in preparation for laying pavers.
50mm thick driveway pavers are then laid upon the surface before being compacted for a final time to ensure the absolute strength and quality of finish of the paving.

Concrete pavers are the most commonly installed pavers in Adelaide. Clay Paving Adelaide
Locally produced Clay Pavers in Adelaide come in a range of earthy colours and tones that ooze character and visual appeal.
Extracted from local clay pits, an array of earthy reds creams, tans, browns, greys and charcoal coloured clay soils are blended to create a range of coloured clay pavers able to compliment the look or colour of any property type in Adelaide.
Clay pavers are either moulded or wire cut exclusively in brick sized pavers around 230x115mm with three different thicknesses. 50mm thick pedestrian pavers, 60mm thick residential driveway pavers, and 78mm thick for commercial driveway use.
During manufacturing, any air trapped inside clays dense particle structure is removed before being placed into the kiln for firing. When the temperature reaches 1,200 degrees Celsius, the clay pavers are placed inside the kiln and left to bake for several days.
